We were on Sterling Road this morning to hear about the federal government’s commitment to fund the extension of the West Toronto Railpath to Sudbury Street and the future King-Liberty GO station. The path currently runs from The Junction to Dundas West and Sterling Road.
Davenport councillor Alejandra Bravo, Davenport MP Julie Dzerowicz, and the City of Toronto’s Barbara Gray spoke about the West Toronto Railpath’s ability to connect the many communities and destinations located along the multi-use trail.

The project will include the construction of several new community access points, plus four new pedestrian and cycling bridges near Sorauren Park, Lansdowne, Brock, and Queen. We’re looking forward to construction getting started next year.
