Rally for rider safety in construction zones
Rally for rider safety in construction zones

Join us this Wednesday as we call on Mayor Chow and city leaders to make our streets safer for pedestrians, transit users, cyclists, workers, children, the elderly and people with disabilities.
At City Council they will be voting to determine whether or not the Yonge St bike lanes will be closed for 3 years to accommodate a developer. Our city is growing, which necessitates the need for construction zones. However, this is not an excuse to leave people on bikes, foot, or using assistive devices to be left at the mercy of traffic. Toronto must put people’s safety first by prioritizing construction zone safety for people of all ages, abilities and incomes.
