SCARBOROUGH! We have another Learn to Ride program scheduled for you this June!

After a successful May season and with peak summer approaching, now is a good time for you to hop on a bike. We're offering free Learn to Ride lessons in partnership with Access Alliance, located at Victoria Park and Danforth Avenue.

Below are key dates, times, and number of spots per class:

Class size: 15 per group

Class duration: 1 hour

Dates for classes: 10th, 17th, and 24th of June (Saturdays!)

Times:

  • 1-6 years old group classes: 9:30 am – 10:30 am
  • 7-14 years old group classes: 10 am – 11 am
  • 15+ and Adult riders group classes: 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm

These classes are built for first-time riders who have never ridden a bike before! Over 3 weeks with 1 hour sessions per week, you will learn how to balance on your bike, how to use your brakes, how to find the perfect bike and helmet fit, and gain the confidence you need to continue riding your bike.

If you have a helmet and a bike, we highly encourage you to get your own. Otherwise, a helmet and bike will be provided to you on site.

For further questions about the classes, email [email protected]

This month's Learn to Ride program was made possible through the ParticipACTION Grant, funded by the Government of Canada.
