Learn to Ride: Keeledale Community Hub
With peak summer season motion, now is a good time for you to hop on a bike. We're offering free Learn to Ride lessons in partnership with Keeledale Community Hub, located at 1652 Keele St. We are offering children (2 - 14) and adult-only (15+) classes.
Below are key dates, times, and number of spots per class:
Location: 1652 Keele St, Keeledale Community Hub
Class size: 15 per group
Class duration: 1 hour
Dates for classes: August 11th, 12th, 19th, and 26th (first session is on Monday, the rest is Tuesdays)
Times:
- 3 - 14 and Children riders group classes: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- 15+ and Adult riders group classes: 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
These classes are built for first-time riders who have never ridden a bike before! Over 3 weeks with 1-hour sessions per week, you will learn how to balance on your bike, how to use your brakes, how to find the perfect bike and helmet fit, and gain the confidence you need to continue riding your bike.
If you have a helmet and a bike, we highly encourage you to get your own. Otherwise, a helmet and bike will be provided to you on-site.
