Ghost Bike Ride For Brian

This event has already taken place.

On Tuesday afternoon, 27 August 2024, Brian Armstrong was riding in High Park, as he normally did, and hurriedly had to avoid a child that appeared in front of him. He fell and injured his hip. EMS brought him to a hospital. Brian died two days later from his injuries. He was a long-distance cyclist, an Ontario Hall of Fame marathon runner, and probably most important to him, a volunteer wildlife rescuer with FLAP Canada.

MEET at 12:00 p.m., Sunday 29 SEPT 2024, at Matt Cohen Park at Spadina and Bloor. This is when speeches and remembrances of Brian will occur. We DEPART at 12:30 p.m. We will arrive at High Park roughly at 1:10 p.m. RAIN or SHINE.

Hosted by Advocacy for Respect for Cyclists (ARC). More information on Facebook
