Election Day Bike Bus

The protected bike lanes along Bloor Street West between Islington and Royal York are gone.

Cycle Toronto will be leading a complimentary bike bus shuttle on Election Day Monday, October 26 through this new gap in our cycling network. All ages and abilities welcome. Together the bike bus will safely ride and take the lane, following all HTA regulations. (Note: the protected bike lanes will remain intact east of Royal York and west of Green Lane until further notice.)

This destruction of life-saving infrastructure is just the first step of the Ford government's $48M scheme that won't solve traffic congestion and will put people's lives at risk. While we continue the fight defend the rest of the 18 km targeted for removals in 2027, we want to ensure folks in Etobicoke-Lakeshore can safely bike to the polls on Monday.

Look for the Cycle Toronto flag and cargo bike!
