For the fourth year in a row we are supporting our partners The Toronto East Cyclists, Scarborough Cycles and the Agincourt Village Community Association at Huntingwood Day by hosting a Bike Engagement Station at Bridlewood Park on Saturday, August 24. This year we have much to celebrate with the implementation of new cycling infrastructure on Huntingwood.
We'll be there with some educational materials and will demonstrate how to perform safety checks for those who may not have access to a bike shop but want to get riding. We'll be able to help with things like inflating your tires, lubricating your chain, demonstrating how to do an ABC safety check, and anything else our teams can safely accomplish in a few minutes.
Bike Share Toronto will also be there to give folks the opportunity to test out their bikes (please bring a helmet if you want to try one of their e-bikes). At noon there will be a group ride along the Scarborough Green Loop.
