Cycle Toronto Board Election: Call for Nominations

As we prepare for our upcoming Annual General Meeting, we’re excited to share details about the 2025 Board of Directors election process.

This year, the Nominations Committee is recommending a slate of three returning directors for re-election:

  • Mark Emila, President
  • Julia Langer, Director
  • Dave Shellnut, Director

Given the current size and capabilities of the Board, we have made the decision not to run an open recruitment process this year. However, we are committed to maintaining an open and democratic process for our members.

If you are a Cycle Toronto member and are interested in joining the Board, we welcome your participation! To express your interest, please complete this form:

Nomination Form

You’ll have the opportunity to make a brief 2-minute speech to members at the AGM before voting takes place.

In addition to advance nominations, nominations will also be accepted from the floor during the meeting.

A vote by members will follow, helping to shape the leadership and direction of Cycle Toronto for the year ahead.

Thank you for being an active part of this movement, and we look forward to your participation in this important process.

Unable to attend? Vote by proxy!

If you cannot attend the AGM, but you would like someone to vote on your behalf, please submit a proxy ballot by completing this form:

Proxy Ballot

All proxies ballots must be submitted by Wednesday, May 28th at noon.
