Having deep roots in community, Ben brings a natural affinity for creation, collaboration and empowerment. What has stayed constant during his time growing up in Toronto is a love for all things cycling. His knack for fixing bikes and riding trails led to the genesis of a grassroots project called Reuse, Repair Ride - a bike matching and climate education program in Keelesdale. From this labour of love propelled him into the work of Cycle Toronto as a Cycling Educator where he played a key role in events and workshops like Learn To Ride. Most recently, he served as the Director of Operations at For Youth Initiative where he holds over six years of experience in nonprofit management and operations. His passion for cycling, active transportation and equitable infrastructure has led him to be a part of many urban revitalization projects throughout Toronto.
