Cycle Toronto is a member-supported non-profit organization that advocates for a healthy, safe, and vibrant cycling city for all. We run campaigns for protected bike lanes on Bloor, Danforth and Yonge St. in Toronto, and encouragement programs like Bike Month across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. We also educate cyclists through our Street Smarts programming which includes on-street outreach and delivering safe cycling workshops. We engage cyclists and non-cyclists in our work and pursue evidence-based transportation solutions that make cycling a viable option for all Torontonians. Recent advocacy successes include bike lanes on Richmond St, Adelaide St and Bloor St and doubling the amount the City of Toronto spends on cycling infrastructure to $16 million per year.
