Coldest Day of the Year Ride 2018

Registration is closed for this event
Bundle up and give winter biking a try! Our annual Coldest Day of the Year Ride is a good chance to get comfortable cycling in the cold weather, hear from city councillors, and meet some new people. This year's ride will take us along protected cycling infrastructure, ending at local pub Betty's.

Join Cycle Toronto for our annual Coldest Day of the Year Ride on Saturday, February 3rd! The ride will be about an hour, followed by a social where you can chat with fellow riders, warm up with a drink, and buy a pair of brand new Cycle Toronto socks, made with Merino wool to keep your feet toasty.

We'll meet at 11:30 am at Alexander the Great Parkette (Danforth Ave at Logan Ave) and kick things off with a few words. Then at noon, we'll get rolling for a short, family-friendly ride of approx. 7km (route map here) along the some of the city's best cycling infrastructure, ending at Betty's on King to warm up and mingle. Both the start and end points are TTC accessible.

Don't have a bike? No problem - you can use Bike Share! Like last year, you'll be able to take out a Bike Share bicycle for up to two hours with no additional fees. Check out their map to find your closest station.
