Which Toronto Bicycle Shops Are Open During the COVID-19 Pandemic?

Even though physical distancing is a part of our daily lives it’s still OK to ride a bike as long as you follow public health guidelines. Many people rely on bikes for their jobs delivering goods or simply as transportation to and from essential workplaces. People are still moving around the city and bicycles are a vital part of our transportation network. This is why we urged the province to include bike shops in their initial list of essential workplaces.

Since the initial list was released, the number of workplaces has been pared down for public health concerns. We can confirm that bike shops fall under Services 7. “Vehicle and equipment repair and essential maintenance and vehicle and equipment rental services.” as an essential workplace. It is worth stressing that this is for repair and maintenance only.
